The season of giving is upon us and Blue Rodeo is excited to announce the Blue Rodeo & Friends Christmas Show! On December 21, the band will take the stage at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto with some of their closest friends to celebrate the holidays and raise funds in support of the Daily Bread Food Bank. All proceeds from this show will go towards fighting hunger across Toronto and the GTA.

Blue Rodeo has a Christmas album on the way to soundtrack your holiday season! A Merrie Christmas To You was recorded over the course of a week this Fall at their Woodshed Studio. The album features Christmas classics as well as covers from artists as diverse as Big Star, Merle Haggard and Paul Simon.

The cover art is an illustration drawn by Greg Keelor’s great-uncle Arthur Keelor who once worked designing greeting cards at Raus & Mann in the 1920’s alongside members of the fabled Group of Seven.

On November 4, Blue Rodeo will perform at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver, BC alongside Dustin Bentall, Kendel Carson and High Valley in an effort to end homelessness in Canada. Tickets for the show are available here.
Band Together is taking place in connection with the second annual National Conference on Ending Homelessness November 3 to 5 at the Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel in Vancouver. The conference will bring more than 700 policy makers, funders, researchers, advocates, community leaders, front line workers and people with lived experience of homelessness to Vancouver in support of a shared mission to end homelessness in Canada.
The Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness (CAEH) will direct concert proceeds to develop and pilot a national campaign to house and support 20,000 of Canada’s most vulnerable homeless people. This is the first of what the CAEH expects will become an annual concert series.
