Jim Cuddy presenter at Giller Prize Awards

The ceremony will be broadcast on CBC-TV, Bravo and Book Television Thursday, November 11th at 9:00 PM (ET). Other celebrity book presenters include Cynthia Dale, Paul Gross, Graham Greene, Daniel Richler, and Pamela Wallin. Comedian Mary Walsh will be hosting this years awards.

Bob Egan’s Fall Tour

Blue Rodeo’s multi-instrumentalist is embarking on a solo tour of British Columbia starting November 19th. Accompanying him will be classical pianist Vanessa Yundt. Bob will be performing on acoustic guitar, National resophonic guitar and the pedal steel guitar. Together they will play songs from Bob’s three singer/songwriter records plus a lot of new material. Blue Rodeo donates memorabilia to UofT

The collection chronicles the history of the band since it was founded in 1984. It includes unreleased live recordings, video footage from concerts, 3,500 photographs and a scrapbook chronicling their first European Tour. Read on for more details.

One Degree artist and friend, Luke Doucet just released his second solo album, recorded at The Rivoli in Toronto, where Blue Rodeo’s Glenn Milchem and Bazil Donovan backed him.
